Stage 2 – Enhanced Training

This training is recommended in addition to the CORE competencies in order to have a deeper understanding and practical application of the theories learned and specific topics relating to mental health.

Staff who play a significant role in a pupils ‘educational journey’ and who are working directly with children and young people on a daily basis should attend this training. These staff would be expected to be responsible for identifying and supporting the needs of pupils on a general level (e.g. teachers).
